No existe nada comparado a la sensación de escuchar y ver a un elenco gitano con las guitarras, los cajones y las bailaoras. Yo soy cubano y desde niño esta musica me ha fascinado. Inclusive nuestro poeta nacional José Marti hizo un poema reverenciando la cultura gitana y su encanto, siendo el mismo enemigo de España. Ya de mayor esta música viene a mi vida una y otra vez, nunca se desgasta.

Im in my 30s and I remember how my grandpa would sing to me and he would spend some nights with me playing his music and dancing flamenco. I now days when I have been heart broken or in love it comes out my chest to sing this or to simply put in words how I feel along with some guitar makes my heart pound out of my chest ❤❤❤

It is magnificent, these are clips from a film called Vengo, made about 2000 I think. Its a fantastic film, and gives a gritty passionate portrayal of Gypsy life, amazing storyline which contains everything needed to compel you and deepen your understanding and compassion about human culture, gypsy culture, (worldwide) speaking from some experience) it is a hard life) set against an authentic backdrop of Spanish life. Its about avenging and justice in a feud that runs so deeply, and it also outlines the sensitivity of disability, and loyalty, and profound love. Antonio Canales is above exception, brilliant. Gritos de guerra are incredible, just 2 guitars, both handsome, sensual, and a wonderful song. (The one in the film is captivating, Arrincónamela). And of course this is a video crafted and beautifully choreographed by the masters who carefully brought Flamenco out of Spain to the rest of the world, The music of the Gypsy Kings. And I love how the lyrics of their beautiful song Tristessa come alive. Music unites us; in dance, in instruments, in love, transcends us to another level.
