Highschool did a band, that summer, people knew I played the guitar, this French kid showed up at my door, we didn't have cell phones back then. another kid showed up. we'd talk about music. I was heavily into metallica. Got a tape. from said friend. a yellow tape. containing beyond hypo. Changed my life.

I could have watched them talk about that for days. I did a Survey of Design project on Bannon's work my freshman year in 1999. About how what he was doing was so hyper-reflective of the music. Then comparing and contrasting it to other labels and jacket designers, particularly Blue Note. This whole exploration of Until Your Heart Stops is wonderful. Thank you to everyone involved.
