Calibr8: PI Vision Custom Symbols at Tenaga Nasional Berhad

PI Vision has been very useful and efficient for PI System users. For very specific applications, custom symbols provide flexibility and added functionality for better insights, not just raw data. Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has implemented Duval's Triangle in their power transformer monitoring with collaboration from their system integrator, Calibr8 Systems. TNB gathers data from their online DGA devices and via customized loggers to automatically plot the data points in the Duval's Triangle in real-time, and provide real-time interpretations and diagnostics of the health of the power transformer. TNB GSE went a step further by implementing the newly released Duval's Pentagon for more accuracy in their transformer health insights.
