Suits wouldn't have been uncomfortable at all though! Because they would all be tailor-made to fit your body perfectly! In fact clothes were probably a lot more comfortable back then because every single piece was made to fit you specifically and every single piece was made of cotton or other natural fibers which are more comfortable against the skin and allow more airflow and air circulation to get to your skin. There was no plastic in clothes. So not only did everyone look better but everyone was probably a lot more comfortable than we are now
