But these days, when women derive the benefits from equality, while also deriving the benefits from privilege, and it’s harder than ever for men to just pull themselves up by the bootstraps, why should they have to? Success is a zero-sum game, and when the opportunities to achieve it has been taken from men and directly given to women (and oftentimes we’re even sadistically forced to fund this transition through taxation and government initiatives), why should we operate under the same premises as before as though things are the same? And this is coming from a guy who’s doing it, who’s working my ass off, who very well may achieve a high degree of status one day. The reality is, most of us will never amount to shit, and that number is getting increasingly larger. When I was in boy scouts, I learned to survive in the wild. I learned to make a fire with sticks and build a shelter. My father was with me to help teach me to survive. Now my kids have to accept a kid who thinks she is a boy and you have accept it. I pulled my kids out when I was not allowed to stay in the meetings or chaperone field trips. I think boys are just tired of fighting the BS forced upon them to accept. That is when us fathers need to step up and teach them to fight.
