Just got this from Best Buy today and I'm returning it

Does this replace my normal bundy Vodafone modem or does it continue to that modem I’m really confused I need a good connection speed for my PS4 so I have like huge mbps for download and upload.

This router is worse than the one I was renting from Comcast.  I get maximum 500 kbps download speeds (if I'm lucky) when using with my PS4 which makes it impossible to do much of anything.  I'm returning asap.
