OnePlus 2 First Impressions and Overview + Style Swap Covers

the Swapstyle Covers are actually real Kevlar and wood, its just that OnePlus has a really intense finishing process over the materials they use so that basically all the covers end up feeling smooth. On OnePlus' site they even say Kevlar™ so it's the real deal, just under some crazy finish

Simple and straight to the point. But, notice every time you got the finger print wrong your finger was evidently on the edge of the sensor making me believe it's human error.

Just a couple of things: firstly, the home button is indeed physical. It is not, however, tactile. Secondly, the speakers aren't dual/mono, the single speaker is mono and only plays from the right hand side of the bottom of the device (think Nexus 5.)

The fingerprint scanner misreading, overheating issues, lag and crappy battery life all seem to be fixed with the Oxygen 2.0.1 update that OnePlus has started to push (updating manually is far quicker however.) I had two days with the original software, and I've had another two days with the update and any gripes I had initially (everything you mentioned) seem to be fixed.

Try registering the same finger twice for the fingerprint scanner not working, worked for me! :)

I was waiting for this phone having purchased the 1 but I just don't think it's hit the mark this time around and still no invites rolling out in large numbers due to issues.

Try removing the double tap on the home button to launch the camera and see if the lag goes away. Cause the device has to wait for the second tap if you use the double tap.
