I loved this issue and gained a love and appreciation for synch and Darwin

I'm pretty sure the team was stuck in the vault for 500 years according to X-men #5, the 50 years line was just Synch remarking on the years which were the hardest and most eye-opening about how unprepared they were. Also, you mixed up Synch and Darwin, Synch is the one narrating and Darwin is the one who was used by the Children of The VaultI'm guessing you just misspoke.

I just realised that they kept calling this place The City, like the one The Maker made in the ultimate universe (which I think was also a Hickman creation). So it appears that this is the 616 version.

Really enjoyed Synch thoughts during the issue but the conclusion of his thoughts should be the exact opposite of what he came to. Everything he thought of during his time in the vault and afterwards epitomizes what it means to be human. There's barely any difference between mutants and humans besides an extra gene.

Change is good but I like your signature old theme better. So thinking about it if the World is using Syncs dna to build more evolved children wouldn’t that make them a Cimera class mutate, I smell an invasion of Krakoa storyline.
