Love the air vent mount. Works with silicone case. Make sure no magnet is on the back of your phone before placing in this mount!

This Qi wireless charger is great. I am using it for my iPhone X and it charges right away when phone is placed in the cradle.

*A word of caution: if you have any sort of circle magnetic sticker or magnetic ring on your phone or on your case, it will not work with this magnetic cradled device. I have a different mount in my second car that uses a magnetic ring. I have the ring neatly placed underneath my silicone phone case. It is not stuck down, luckily. I tried charging at first with my ring in case, and it did not continuously charge. It went on and then off, on and then off. Thought hmmmmm..... Took out the ring, and WOW! Perfect. Wonderful. Charged my phone with and without my case-- so quickly to connect and charge. No lightning speeds, but normal charges. Lol.

Back to the positives - love the vent mount. Put it on and tighten the mount in the position you want it and smile. It is brilliant. There is a button in the back to release the arms, and gently squeeze to close. So easy to use, and it holds the phone both vertically and horizontally. Stays on while driving. Everything is great. Instructions are readily available and easy to follow, with diagrams, if you need them.

The neutrals: the suction mount looks just fine, however I can't use it in either of my cars. You really need to find the ideal spot to stick it, and it is a sticky suction mount that adheres well, and I can see that since I like these lever squeeze-down kinds of auctions. But, again, I don't have a place in either car for it. So I cannot comment on how well that works. What I can comment on, though, is that the swivel ball mount on the back of the cradle, then grips on to the ball of the arm of the suction bracket instead, if you want to go that route. It does look solid, however.

The only negative: This car wireless charger won't work with your device if you have a "permanent" magnetic patch or magnetic ring that you've stuck down with 3M tape to your own device. It seems as though the two magnetic fields somehow collide, and it just cannot make a permanent connection with the Qi wireless back of your phone. You will have an "on, off, on, off..." effect throughout your charging cycle.

Love this vent mount for my iPhone X and thankfully my magnetic ring is removable for this mount in my smaller car, and I can replace it when done charging, since it is as simple as slipping it right back in. Works with my silicone case too. :)
