Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife have set double standards,Tasmanian walking company are the only people allowed on the Overland Track without tent, sleeping bag and sleeping mat.
in November 2021 Tasmanian walking company guests did not make it to their Hut and had to spend a horrible night inside the emergency shelter with none of the above mentioned. this makes guiding commercial group's very dangerous.
