Moto G4 Plus - What Happened After The Water Test !

The battery issue can be fixed. The same thing happened with my Moto G after I took it with me for swimming just for testing. Power off your phone and put it in rice bowl for a night. Power it on and let the battery get down to 1% after which it will eventually shut down. Keep it like that for a few hours. Then plug it in the charger and after sometime it will start normally ..and after that the battery will work just like normal. the battery does not get damaged.. it s the calibration that gets affected. Regarding the screen issue silica gel pouch helped a lot. I kept my phone in an sealed rice bowl for 3 days and now it works perfectly. Hope this helps! :-)

If you decide not to get the phone repaired please would you do a drop test, first onto carpet from shoulder height and then onto a hard floor. Thanks.

Try putting it in the box containing rice.! Because rice absorbs the moisture quickly.

I think you need to remove the internal glass, clean it off, and then assemble it again. I am just assuming that it might be issue.

only a waterproof phone will survive what you did bro. you can't blame them. though i seen one guy doing a water test and his phone was working

i took my phone out in rain for hardly 30 seconds, then after i checked it like 3 hours later. the screen was full of dots colored black and white(it gave the feeling of no signal in T.V) my phones flashlight's working the camera switches on whenever i twist but my screen's black.i can even call for google assistant but she asks me to unlock the device., the fingerprint is working though.
what? could be possible damage... help admin.

there's a problem with your mic. your voice can only be heard in the right side. the left part is simply blank. and no, my headphone is ok .. check your mic man..

Wait what, had you really intentionally decided to submerge your phone into the water just to make a youtube video or was it a real water fool-proof product testing ? Also, was the Moto G4plus you had, was for your personal use or was it some kind of review product sent to you ?
