In this video, we will take a look at the new Star Wars Arcade1UP Cabinet! We added a little Star Wars skit at the beginning (~2min), then move into the unboxing, assembly, Gamplay and Review of the new Star Wars Arcade1UP Arcade! Time markers are below if you prefer to jump around.

The added "vector glow" effect works very well when things are moving, stationary things look a bit more fake, but it's a good compromise.

I remember playing this in 83 at the 7-Eleven when obiwan says ' let go' if you time it right the death Star won't shoot at you and you'll have a clean run NOT the touching the controls right to the port ' using the force' right to the exhaust port and blow it up sending 4 million contractors to their Doom (clerks)

Just wondering if the small dots on each corner of the screen during game play is normal? I noticed my cabinet has them when playing and i noticed yours has them also in the video.

Nice! I just got one of these as of 10/21 I got the demo model as every new unit was sold out, understandable as this machine has been out for awhile now.

This video was helpful in two ways for me personally. Obviously grabbing the stores demo model I didn’t have to put it together and I’d wondered how the assembly of the yoke was.

The second helpful part was that I had recently noticed 4 dots (pixels) in each corner of my screen, they are not visible in the games menus or Return of the Jedi, only in Star Wars & The Empire Strikes Back, the vector based games.

However I noticed in your video and I could only see 2 dots in the upper left/ right corners with your camera placement but with this unit from the video being new out of the box, it’s likely this is just standard either from the original programming of the game or standard in the form of the emulation and not dead pixels as I had feared. So thank you for posting!

Also this thing makes me happy, so much fun, takes me back to the arcades of the 1980’s 🕹 I’m finding there’s no stress reliever quite like having a drink 🍸 and sitting down to play a few games of this.

Hi. And thank you! I have the same cabinet. It just arrived. I just apply it it together. It says all 3 games are on here....but it doesny ask me which game I'd like to play, it only automatically plays the empire strikes back. Any help?
