Gavin Newsom, Ron DeSantis exchange insults in FOX News debate with Hannity

In the debate between two Governors, California's Gavin Newsom and Florida's Ron DeSantis hurled insults at each other and continuously talked over each other in the FOX News debate with Sean Hannity.

Anyone in the comments advocating for Newsom or California in general, is out of their mind or completely brainwashed.

Let me give a recent example of utter failure from my governor; research “Housing Element SF plan CA” for yourself.

Part of this plan is for SF to build 82, 000 homes by 2031…this would be at a rate 3x faster than ever seen before. Keep in mind, the greater part of the city is 7x7 miles. Not only is this proposal ridiculous, it’s logistically impossible on every level imaginable.

Best part is, SF already announced its failed to meet the state’s plan guideline 3 days ago…

Mayor London Breed, another village person, also chimed in saying the plan was unreasonable and impossible as well.

Newsom signed 56 bills in regards to creating more housing, but as you can see it’s all gobbledygook garbage that doesn’t actually work in real life here.

Have to give Hannity credit. First debate I've seen this year where they can talk it out between the politicians. Every Republican debate so far has been interrupted by the moderators over and over and over again and each of the candidates get different questions. You are supposed to have a main question and let them debate. THAT IS WHAT A DEBATE IS!!! Hannity handled neutrally and let them both talk through the questions. Good job Hannity!

Florida has just as much homelessness, they just get chased into the woods and swamps to fend for themselves. And this year, people are leaving the Miami - dade area in droves. And although you have a lot of people moving to Florida, you have a lot leaving. In fact, statistics also show that 40-50% of the people that move there between 2019-2022 have already become disillusioned and have either moved or plan to move out in the next year or two. Maybe not back to California but definitely out of Florida. And Florida has a very high crime, gun, and murder rate. California might have higher taxes, higher housing costs, and some cities with higher crime and homelessness- Florida in general has a lot of problems are hidden till you move there and find out there’s low wages, high housing costs, insurance premiums through the roof, high crime, and militant policies on your way of life. And not enough social services to balance out the poverty that’s driving the high crime. In fact they cut social services every chance they get.

As a republican in the Bay Area, I agree. SF has gone downhill. The foreign visitors have been rudely awakened so far. I don't even have anything good to visit there except Golden Gate Park.
