Derek Jarman was great and certainly missed given all the horrible films regurgitating out of dumpsters such as Hollywood today, and the horrible WOKE Directors which have unfortunately taken over. We really need directors like Jarman to begin producing the kind of quality films that he produced and augmented by the likes of the God-like powers of musical geniuses such as his friends from the group "Coil". Subsequently Coil produced a great deal of the music for many of his films. I am sick of of having to go "dumpster diving" on Hulu, Netflix, Apple, Amazon; much less paying to see over-priced worthless films in the cinemas these days to only be angered by the lack of imagination of 99.9% of directors out there today pushing their Woke political agenda instead of producing the art that people like Jarman, Argento, Roeg, Jeunet, Fassbinder, Waters, Russell, Kubrick, etc. use to put out that would stimulate your mind and soul.
