Once a business has identified a job vacancy which needs to be filled, they will prepare: A job description about the post available. This will include the job title, what is involved, the roles, tasks and responsibilities
A person specification about the desired candidate. This will include qualifications, skills and experience that are desirable and necessary for the job. The job can then be advertised, with applicants shortlisted and then invited to interview.
Internal recruitment fills vacancies from within the organisation, while external recruitment fills vacancies from outside the organisation.
Induction training is the training given to an employee when they first start a job. On the job training is given in the workplace. Off the job training is provided outside an employees main place of work
