I was 11 when this came out. I can still remember where I was and what I was doing the first time I heard it. Vintage Loudermilk -- brilliant as always. Thanks for posting!

Yep, I too was 11 when this one was on the radio.  Heard it a couple of times on my transistor radio.  There was another that came out shortly about a Dr Kildare.  Ahhh, what a beautiful time of innocence.

I remember another novelty song called "Ben Crazy, " which got a lot of air play here in New York on WMCA. Much to my disappointment, I can't find it on YouTube. Anybody else remember it?
