Older subway cars (especially the retired ones) produced a lot of noise during the time of their service. There are already new models in service on the metro and are currently replacing the older fleet but I heard there are more trains scheduled to be ordered and delivered in 2020. Even Siemens, CAF and Bombardier, have presented their new subway cars for Moscow metro.
