The Innovator

The Gerstner master craftsmen are currently putting the final touches on the initial prototype of “The Innovator”. The Innovator is a 21” wide chest, with more storage capacity than a traditional 20” chest /base combination set.

The top lid features a gas strut, to assist opening the top, which also keeps the user from over torquing the hinges. Several changes have been made around the drawers. The Iconic “center handbook drawer” was changed into a flip down door, which increases storage and versatility. The drawers feature grooves in the front and back (not the sides), for adding dividers, an optional drawer stop system (a different design than our traditional Stop-Trac™ system) and our innovative side locking drawer system. The side locking drawer system locks the drawers when you close the top of the chest and all drawers are closed.
