Rain detail in Arcane animation! 🤯

There is a very good example of foreshadowing in the Arcane animation that shows the common denominators of Piltover and Zaun. If you remember, in the first episode of Arcane's 2nd season, after the Council takes the decision to move, it starts raining from the sky. The main reason for this is in reference to Ekko's sentence in the 3rd episode.

In other words, neither Zaun's actions affect Piltover nor Piltover's actions affect Zaun, in fact, both sides bear the consequences of their own choices. It continues to be forged like an endless chain where there is no rightful side.

That's literally the opposite. Echo's dialogue in episode 3 states that when it rains on Piltover, it's Zuan that gets wet, meaning that Piltover doesn't realize it's raining. The scene in episode 1 right after Jinx's attack symbolize that Piltover is starting the see the consequences of their actions. It's not foreshadowing, it's retroactive dialogue continuity.

Not quite other commenters got this correct. Also the design of the hex core is a web. This is a reference to a saying the saying is the web we sow. This is a jab at Jayce and Heimerdinger as their actions has directly influenced a lot of events as well as directly created Viktor and his Glorious Evolution.
