I hate these cherry picked videos showing "engineers" not working and BS'ing around the office. It's actually tough work but CEOs see these and think we're all lazy and start cutting benefits and staff.

Can I ask how great do you need to be at math and problem solving? I used to do math competitions held by my highschool years ago that were made by university of Waterloo and never did that well. Do failures like that make me not equipped for this career?
