SURPRISING Fact About Pluto! #shorts

Here is a surprising fact about the dwarf planet Pluto. Since it was discovered by Clyde Tombaugh on February 18, 1930, Pluto still hasn't completed an orbit around the sun. And none of us living today will be alive when it finally does.

It takes the dwarf planet 248.09 Earth years to complete one orbit around the sun. So, Pluto will complete its first full orbit since its discovery on Monday, March 23, 2178, just a few years after Neptune turns 2.

Think about it, this second that your reading my comment, whatever year it takes for Pluto to do a full orbit, this second by the amount of years Pluto does a full orbit in the past, it’s already been a orbit.

Fun fact: Eris, the farthest dwarf planet of our solar system actually has an orbital period of 558 Years . So, it will complete a single orbit in a time period in which Pluto will orbit approx. twice
