UCR from the air, captured in a stunning new aerial campus tour. See why the University of California, Riverside, is America’s fastest rising university, seeing dramatic increases in rankings, reputation, research, and student success.
This video is number three in the “UCR from the Air” series, which aired in 2013. A second video was produced in 2015, but an unprecedented amount of growth on the UCR campus has demonstrated the need for a new tour-from-the-air video.
Some new construction highlighted in this tour from the air includes the renovation of UCR’s iconic Barn restaurant and venue, the campus’ first major outdoor sculpture, and the Multidisciplinary Research Building. Footage also highlights major campus events, such as the Associated Students of UCR (ASUCR)’s Spring Splash and Block Party, sporting events, and student life.
We’re proud to be ranked No. 12 among all U.S. universities, according to Money Magazine’s 2020 rankings, and among the top 1 percent of universities worldwide, according to the 2019-20 Center for World University rankings. In 2020, U.S. News also named UCR the top university in the nation for social mobility.
