Sony Walkman FX41 Cassette Player Running slow fix.
Turn the blue dial by hand, one direction slows the playback down and one direction speeds it up. Turn slightly with headphones plugged in. This will calibrate it based on how tight or loose the rubber band is. Easy fix.

Same here, i have bought defect cassette player but only radio, when i have to fix its player, i heard the track was slowed, so when i saw you easy fix, same i have fix. Thanks to you! It was cheaper their sale

I did the exact same thing on an FX35. But I used a 3 kHz tone recorded on a known good deck to adjust the Walkman speed.
