I had a dream a couple of months ago. There was a massive army and all around me I could hear music being played. It was all of the songs of the followers of Jesus raised up in one voice over the last 300 years. The songs that they played was all of the praise and worship songs that been written and sung for the glory of God. And then the banner was raised and the trumpets blared and a loud voice said prepare for your King, and every knee bowed and every tongue confessed.

All through history many battles have been fought and before the battles men played music to lift their spirits, trumpets, drums, bagpipes. It’s no coincidence. Make sure my brothers and sisters that the battle songs you play over your life are fighting for the right side, what we play every day prepares us for how we fight. Thank you Hillsong and all those who write this music that leads us into battle!
