RRQ actually has trialed almost all of the current PRX roster except d4v4i and rejected them. f0rsaken and mindfreak got rejected in 2021 and stayed with PRX, jinggg and something got rejected in 2022 and snatched by PRX.

The entire reason why PRX managed to get something from Sengoku was because CGRS told PRX that Ilya is available for transfer after he got secret trialed and rejected by RRQ in Jakarta.

In Jinggg's case, his mom just straight up contacting PRX directly after he got rejected by RRQ after one trial and his Team SMG contract was up.

RRQ actually becoming the mibr of Pacific, they don't want to win but wanted to pocket the money that Riot gave them.

One thing that pissed us off at that time was boom and onic had 10 indonesian players, made it to lcq final together after beating team secret and arguably a better Bleed roster at that time. The hype was there for us, especially after two of our players almost won masters with PRX. And then there was RRQ, which at that time not even bothered getting all ONIC roster who just got released as a free agent. I also remembered their pr team seems like almost have no clue about Valorant or VCT, uttering some passive-agressive response, and just rubbing another salt to the wound. RRQ had so many chance and options that can't go wrong for them. Yet somehow they fcked everything.

RRQ has actually been in complete chaos from the start of recruiting franchise players. The reason is, RRQ Valorant has moved to the Philippines after RRQ Endeavor was disbanded. They intend to develop the team at Philippines. But when the Franchise came along, things got a little messy. Whether you want to retain Philippine players, mix, or Full Indonesian Player.. It is clear that the Indo community wants to see full Indonesian players on the franchise scene. Even Nexy and KellyS (PH Player), who had been confirmed as part of the franchise line-up, were suddenly kicked out. Flipzder and Lmemore also entered as players to replace the two of them. 😅

rrq already got management problem since dota2, i still remember they release all old roster then looking and trial for new talents for weeks like open qualifier, but suddenly they change their mind, all trial result become invalid and suddenly new roster appeared out of nowhere few months or years later they disband the dota2 division

I remember teams were locked in and most of the players are under contract on their respective teams which had insane buyouts (from what I heard). The rumour that was popular during that time was that RRQ was trying to save the big chunk of money from the stipend from riot. I didn't really pay much attention to indo valorant but they were one of the best regions in SEA aside from PH. SG/MY and TH. We were expecting that they would keep Nexi + 2GE and fill the players with Indonesian talent. Even us Filipinos were disappointed the choice especially taking ejay. There were many talented players like monyet, eeyore and many more.
