As someone who trades almost everyday, these videos are great! Alot of the times the trend lines work because the algos use them, so alot of the time there will be a response when you get to them. But they dont work all the time!

Hi CNP, I've been enjoying your crisp whispers for a while now but that constant humming noise is really kinda killing that enjoyment sometimes. Would be sweet if you could do something about it :)
It sounds electrically induced so maybe you could test out where in your signal chain it's comming from. OR, as the pitch of the hum seems to be around a relatively consistent ~250 Hz, you could try just drawing that out with an EQ needle in post. I (and I think many others) would really apprechiate it <3

Your investing rambles are my favourite videos! But heads up, I know you're mainly ETFs and blue chip stocks, but be SO careful with options. The data shows it's a crap shoot. I'm glad it's worked so far for your buddy, but at the end of the day, it's essentially luck, and now there's likely some confirmation bias now. The proven winning strategy is finding the lowest cost index ETFs like VTI, SCHD, SCHG and riding it for decades. :) Cheers.

Technical analysis is unfortunately useless. I have worked in finance (portfolio mgmt and real estate finance) and managed stock portfolios for university endowment funds. The rationale is straightforward: Technical analysis fails because it only looks at past market data, which doesn't predict future trends. Since market movements don't follow a set pattern from day to day, past trends don't help in forecasting future ones. Moreover, if everyone used these methods and they worked, they'd soon be ineffective as they'd become common knowledge and reflected in market prices.
