6:06 Fun fact because of tariffs new current gen consoles are insanely expensive to Brazilians. So theyre stuck playing games on cheaper older systems making their shelf lives longer. This also created their grey market of games where unofficial Brazilian game devs still make games for the systems

Man it’s so crazy to see halo 2600 being shown on a YouTube channel this massive! I loved playing Halo as a kid, and my dad would play with me at my request, but his passion has always been for the older Atari 2600/7800 gaming era. I’m not trying to knock that era though, I have a ton of great memories playing old Atari games along side him, it’s just that our main interests were also massively different. One day though, my dad spotted halo 2600 on Atari Age (a forum where Atari lovers hang out and share roms), and it was an instant hit. It was like someone made a game specifically for people like us! I still remember the day we finally beat the prophet (final boss) after trying a bunch of different strategies, and even constructing a map of the game’s room layouts to help with navigation. Demakes can be great!
