A YOUNG couple are standing up to online trolls who judge their interabled relationship. Menecis, 23, met Brody, 22, when they were in kindergarten, but it wasn’t until senior year of high school that the pair became a couple. Since then, the couple have been fully committed to each other. However, despite the loving relationship, they have faced judgement due to Brody being a congenital amputee, which means he was born without legs. For the most part people have judged them online, questioning whether Menecis is using Brody for fame and there are others suggesting the idea that Menecis would be loyal is impossible. In spite of all the judgement, Brody and Menecis are continuing to post videos online of them having fun together, loving one another and defying their haters.

I don't understand why someone would say anything negative about your relationship. Your both 2 people that love eachother. Yes he was born with a disability but he made the best of his life despite that. Why would anyone make fun of someone who grew up happy and healthy while overcoming hardships? I think people are just jelous because they don't have this courage. I worked with a Vietnam veteran who lost both legs in the war. That man was truly incredible. He was a good, hardworking man that I really admitted and respected. He had a car similar to the one shown in this video, that allowed him to drive. Some people act like they are interspecies or something. The fact that we as a species can be born with challenges or due to some life altering event become challenged in some way, it doesn't make us any less human. If we are alive it means our bodies are functioning well enough to sustain life. Love is love no matter what and we all need it to lead a fruitfull life. I don't know one person who doesn't want to be loved by somebody.

I have a disability. I know that it helps the love between my husband and me be even stronger. I love seeing how much he's always there for me, that's just him, he's an incredibly supportive person. I try to be like him. My disability is generally invisible and strangers are sometimes confused by us, they say we're cute or we're so happy together, we have something special. Underneath that is actually the extra challenges and struggles we've been through together. We don't waste too much time being miserable when we could just be happy, you never know what life is going to give you. I see the same things in this couple.
