my tip is to send in a physical portfolio. make it really large, bigger than any garbage can in a normal office, and heavy, so they can't throw it away

I have a bit of an unusual question, I graduated about 10 years ago and haven't been able to land a job where I live due to different reasons. But I would like to make a portfolio. I feel like I would basically be starting from scratch since I don't feel like the projects I did when I was in school from 2009-2013 reflect my current design skills and thinking process. So in this case because I would like to start with something new, what kind of projects do you recommend I include, keeping in mind that these would have to be mostly made up projects? Thanks so much
