Kerri Strug injured her ankle on her second to last vault for Team USA. She pushed through to land her final vault on one leg to secure gold for her team in the 1996 Olympic Games.

All the stupid people saying she´s a hero for not quitting: Simone Biles got 25 Medals for the US, Strug only one and it ended her career.
A Veteran with 25 Medals, absolute world record, and 4 of them being Olympic gold only one short of the perfect 5, the most experienced gymnast in the team says, she can´t bring it. And you celebrate an 18yo letting herself be abused and talked into risking it all for a single Gold Nugget...

That´s the difference between experience and hypocrisy.
Don´t listen to the one time hero, listen to the veteran of many battles.
