I ride a 1994 Pinarello Stelvio. Now THAT's an Italian bike - it even says so on the seatstay - Treviso Italia. Back then, I ordered my frame through my dealer - a pro mechanic - and the nearly-retired craftsmen in Treviso started soldering it together. End of the '90's, it was all over. Now, the real Pinarellos are Taiwanese; the Chinarellos are Chinese. China considers Taiwan to be an obnoxious province, so It's all the same, really. My first carbon bike will be a German-built Focus. Weeks from now. Keeping my REAL Pinarello!
