I assembled the same kit about a month ago;
Its not bad.
These are perfect for the bathroom;
My cell phone still has the 3.5mm jack in it for headphones/etc.
Nice little kit.

OK... live and learn. I messed this one all up and think I'm gonna get another kit and start over. The instructions that you download are much better than the printed that comes with or the QR code scan version. When you click on the second link above and then click on download the manual in the red circle you will get the best version of the instruction manual. 15 pages. Have to be careful to wire the red, green, yellow and blue correct per Todd to get stereo.

A battery you can use a 14500 type.will fit, and in a holder.

Fun fact: The speakers are the same as an old pair of CD-R KING computer speakers I had back then.
