What should a product owner do if a new scrum master comes in and does the opposite of what the SM is expected to do? For example, cancels the retro more often than not, assigns work to specific developers instead of letting the developers self organize, advocates for the team to reinstitute anti-patterns that they already moved away from (like estimating in hours and splitting stories between dev and test), and generally isn’t supporting the team in trying to be more agile?

What if the product owner argues with the scrum master on these things because they have actually been doing scrum longer and then that product owner gets accused of stepping on the scrum masters toes?

Hi, Daria! Thank you for your videos, they really help especially when I am frustrated and demotivated. I whant to ask you about what should I do if I have all of this problems? I work in company and there is no agile environment. I work with teams wich work on projects simultaneously them main work. I do my best: we have all meetings, goals, improvements, etc. But PO is the owner of business, and he has not so many time for it. And hi isn't work with product backlog. My team make backlog without him and goes to review with something what they have done. I feel bad and guilty, I think that I have to manage this process better, but it is hard to face it alone. Oh. I see I've went here to support. I hope It is okay for you. If you are not answer I will understand you :)

How can you become a Scrum Master if no company is hiring you? I have a SM certificate and some experience, I apply for a SM position but no response. Any suggestions? I'm starting to think that a person like me has no chance of getting a job.
