Got Bored at 3am and decided to make an Initial D edit to test my editing skills since i haven't really edited in over a year. Maybe I should start editing again lol this is more like a test than an actual edit/amv or whatever you wanna call this. I also wanna apologize for the bad quality. Its pretty hard to find footage from this movie that's actually HD since its like 20 years old. Still one of my favourite races in Initial D, just kinda wish they didn't make stage 3 into a movie. Hope u enjoyed this. Should I do more initial D edits?

This is one of the races from Initial D stage 3 where Takumi (the Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86) races Miki (the Toyota Celica GT4) to save Mogi (the stupid whor-). The song is "Killing My love" by the alias 'Leslie Parrish'. It's never actually used in the Initial D anime (even though it's easily one of the best eurobeat songs) and was only used in the Initial D Arcade stage 2 and Initial D Special Stage games.

the detail that he kept the 86 keychain that Natsuki made for him by his keys is so cute, i wish they actually stayed together, Mogi got alot of screentime and their relationship felt more special than of that with Mika the girl he got with in the end. i even remember when Natsuki cheered for Takumi and his passion and wanted him to succeed and was even worried about him when he was out racing and she sat in her room on the floor all sad. We didn't get these kind of scenes with Mika, she just fell for him because she felt bad after slapping him because she wrongly accused him of being a dick to her friend lol. And all they (Mika And Takumi) did was go on a date where they played golf. While with Natsuki we got christmas together, the whole school thing in season 1, the scenic car date with a kiss, and ofcourse this winter heroic rescue. Idk i just care as a viewer more for Natsuki than for Mika who was just plain boring

got pulled over by a cop listening to this song, destroying my local mountain. The officer was impressed with my driving skills, said he'd never seen someone so fast on this specific road in 10 years. I qualified for reckless driving, but he didn't give me the charge, only a ticket. Wouldn't change a thing. Probably the most fun/free I've felt in my whole life, but always remember to acknowledge your own mortality and value safety over everything.
