I've been absent from fishing for 40 odd years(life got in the way). Retired now, and I needed someone to explain the new gear (no such thing as braid or fluorocarbon in those days!) and the science of reading a beach and fishing in general. Went to Ocean Beach near Strahan, Tas. followed your tips and caught some nice sized salmon!

Fantastic :) I usually do drone fishing (surfcasting 200 - 500 m) in New Zealand. Sometime, it really worked, and sometime it didn't work. Now, I understood the results. Thank you again :)

I tie all my bait already on hooks, freeze the hook and bait. This approach stems from that I have determined exactly what fish
species I am going to target, as well as where I am going to fish, with our south-easterly, easterly fishing wind in mind.
