🐭 The master of ambient for a new age of gamers. 🎵🎹

Learn how to play Mice On Venus by C418 on piano with this Synthesia piano tutorial! Please enjoy!

Mice on Venus is a melancholic turned quirky song from the Minecraft soundtrack, one of C418’s more experimental tracks. Regarding the name of the song, C418 cited inspiration from a German duo Mouse on Mars, saying “Mice on Venus”, or Mouse on Mars. MOM is a definite inspiration for me, and this album directly. It’s a highly experimental German musician duo that has been super active in the late 90’s and early 2000’s and I obsessed over their work. The song started as a piano solo, but as game development went on, I added a kind of, uh, addendum to it. A little cheeky piece that kind of says, Minecraft is also quite silly.” Do you think the song or Minecraft is silly? If so, tell us the silliest thing you’ve done in minecraft in the comments below! Then, learn this brilliant piano arrangement and show us your work!

This piano arrangement of Mice On Venus is fantastic to play! You can learn it with our Synthesia piano tutorial, or from our official Sheet Music Boss sheet music at the top of the description!

I feel so nostalgic. Just building, crafting or exploring or goofing around. And trough the silence, a song that comes forth. Didnt know where it came from, but certainly didnt want it to end, ever. But then it silently faded out and I would wait for the next supprise that is the music in Minecraft.

You load the game and hear this, you logged in after being inactive for almost 4 years, you feel very emotional after remembering when you built houses, killed mobs and played minigames with your friends and siblings, you find one of your old friends is online, you talk to him, you log into the world you both worked hard on together. You start working on finishing those buildings, roller coasters or whatever you made. You stay up till 2 am building even though it's a school night, you start playing Minecraft more after that.

This is by far my favorite mc track.
I don’t know what it was, but it was perfect for creative minecraft. There isn’t an ounce of anxiety or pressure in this track, something that is very common for mc tracks, but this one does it in its own way.
The track is best described as curious and quirky, yet calm and very open ended. It perfectly represents creative minecraft to me, with endless possibility but slow and even pace that is not something you wish to rush or overwhelm yourself with.

You are alone with the world, and this time, you have the entire world within your hands. Yet you choose to be gentle and creative with it, improving it as you see fit while preserving the beauty of the ecosystem.

That or you’ll just make a villager holocaust.

I’m pretty sure those mice would be absolutely cooked if they went on Venus

The first part of the song makes me think of a spark of an idea to go an adventure and make the most of it. The second part is vastly different it is still the storyline but the actual adventure in execution. You can tell through the melody that it’s not all a bright path to the end result and there is a lot of concern and wanting to go back but they stick with it and finish it. Then at the end the soft melodies fade in and it was all worth it

"I think SkyBlock at its core is the ultimate challenge in resource management. You spawn on a tiny island in an empty universe; all you have is a tree, some supplies, and some dirt to stand on. You have to treasure _every_ dirt block because if one falls into the void, there's no way to replace it. And as you carefully navigate your absurd circumstance, you gain a new appreciation for the few things you have as you meticulously use them to their fullest effect. With nothing but some ice, lava, and saplings, you slowly transform this empty expanse into a world of your very own. SkyBlock teaches us that no matter how ridiculous the odds may seem, within us resides the power to overcome these challenges and achieve something beautiful. And one day, we'll look back at where we started and be amazed by how far we've come."

I never understood why I would cry when I listened to mice on Venus but now, since the legend has passed it gives me a reason. Technoblade never dies

While everyone is making speeches, of of their nice experiences, or random facts,

POV 0:00 - 2:03 You just died in a Hardcore world, and you're watching the days go by in Spectator Mode from the fortress you built. In one of those rooms, is the first friend you ever made. He sits patiently, loyally, waiting for the moment you will hopefully one day return...
