Luise, have you considered creating a chain of snippets (using eyelets and jump rings) to make a journal "belt" to keep the journal closed? Also, may I suggest using some candle wax on the bottom of the mini "schrank" drawer glides to eliminate the squeaking. Candle wax also works on wood drawer glides (your large "schrank") to prevent them from sticking or binding. 😊
