Every year in Japan, sumo wrestlers compete to be the first to make babies cry. They’re taking part in an annual Shinto festival called Nakizumō. The most well-known event is held in Tokyo’s Asakusa district, where around 100 babies are brought into an open-air sumo ring.

Oh if crying babies ward off evil spirits were true.. taking them all to sumo convention Park is useless, ain't it? I mean, who's saying evil spirits are hanging out in Park. Why make all babies cry in a park for evil spirits.. one baby cry should be enough, or is there a threshold... If baby cries have that power, I shat myself while crying during constipation like any adult.. does that make everybody's toilet safest place from all evil? 😅
