With so many VPN options on the market, how are you supposed to pick a single one? For today’s best VPN review, I’m gonna be doing a tier list - see which VPNs are top-of-the-line - and which ones could do better.

-----------------------------------------------
🗻 NordVPN

Well, the NordVPN app is clear and easy to navigate, I found the server connections to be one of the fastest I’ve tested, plus, there are a lot of locations to choose from. Though I especially like NordVPN’s clear focus on privacy and security. Their no-logs policy was audited not once, but multiple times, and on top of that, NordVPN runs on RAM-based servers.

-----------------------------------------------
📮 ExpressVPN

Security-wise, they’re going toe-to-toe with NordVPN. However, Express VPN barely has any features. The only thing that really caught my attention is their Device Groups feature, which is absolutely awesome for VPN router setups. Still, the limited features make it hard to justify the high pricing. EVEN if ExpressVPN is one of the best VPN 2024 candidates.

-----------------------------------------------
🦈 Surfshark

It has great security practices, an audited no-logs policy, and RAM-only servers. Also, Surfshark has plenty of locations to connect to, while also being one of the fastest best VPN picks. That makes it a superb option for accessing content from foreign streaming platforms.

-----------------------------------------------
OTHER TOP VPN PICKS:

Good enough to make it to the best vpn 2024 list… yet it lacks quite a few things to be high on it.

If you’re looking for a simple but powerful best VPN provider candidate that won’t break the bank.

The best thing about this best VPN app is its performance when it comes to distant servers.

Open source, their apps also went through an independent audit. I also found a good amount of features in this best VPN for 2024 candidate, tailored specifically towards privacy enthusiasts.

While PureVPN is among the picks for the best VPN service, 2024 edition, it’s performance could be better, and recent updates raised their price.

PrivateVPN is on this best VPN comparison list for a reason - and to me, that’s their torrenting capabilities.

While CyberGhost can be considered one of the best VPN in 2024, it lacks features to boost the value - and certain aspects of performance could be improved.

-----------------------------------------------
Final thoughts ➡️

So, what is the best VPN? Well, truth be told, it highly depends on your needs. I can’t tell you which best VPN to buy, but I can say that my favorite VPN, at least currently, has to be NordVPN, from both a security and functionality standpoint.

After testing more than 10vpns, I found out that Protonvpn has the fastest speed for torrenting (port forwarding helps tremendously)

Express VPN is slow as hell. At least for me. My unrestricted internet speed is over 600mbps. With Express VPN connected though, that drops to 180-320 and is often down in the mid-double digits. Any time I'm streaming a movie or YouTube video and the quality starts to drop or the video start buffering, I have to go turn off the VPN and the video starts playing correctly again.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled it several times, tried different protocols, contacted customer service half a dozen times, and nothing works to make it any faster. What's sad is that it used to be faster. It just keeps getting slower and slower over time. I've had it for about two years and I'm done. I'm shopping for a new VPN now. Especially since the last time I talked to their customer service (just an hour ago) I was told that my CPU was just too slow to encrypt the data fast enough. I have a Ryzen 7, 7800X3d. Literally one of the fastest CPUs. And my old computer, which I was using when I first got Express VPN and it was actually fast, has an old Intel I5 7600k. so basically I was told "Shut up and accept the slow connection".

Fuck that.

NordVPN Customer Support is a nightmare. You can only connect with a bot and that of course limits cases which you can solve. Last week they susponded my account with a out a reason and CS couldnt do anything for a few days. That’s what I call cruppy service. I do not recommend NordVPN.

Everything this guy puts out is selling Nord.

He may as well wear a Nord t-shirt 😂

Obviously sponsored by them but no disclaimer…shady

Proton doesn't support P2P so that's definitely a No for me.

I have a question that has not been addressed specifically in any video I’ve seen thus far.
My setup on my cellular plan is unlimited data and 20 GB of hotspot.
My question is, if I’m using a VPN on my phone and connect my iPad or MacBook via hotspot, does that automatically apply VPN protection to those devises? Common sense would say yes, but I don’t actually know the answer to this question.

Hey Cyber News Team! I have a question and id like to know your opinion:

So, firstly, i want a free vpn (windows and android) with really good security + good speeds. I have encountered a lot of them such as atlas vpn, hotspot shield, privado vpn, proton vpn, tunnel bear and windscribe. I used all of them except hide me (the one i liked more was proton and the worst hotspot shield cuz of ads on android and not trustable no logs policy). Out of these options which one is the best option for privacy?

Thanks!
