The crew ending up where David was marooned would always be a tough sell. Shame they went this way. I truly hope disney give us a big budget ridley scott dream. This story needs to be told in soooo much more depth

This film could have been much more than it was, although it had it's good ideas. David made a very good bad guy, but an insane AI being ultimately responsible for Xenomorph existence since, in his insanity, he's decided that Humanity is so inferior to him and his that that it doesn't deserve to survive? NOT a good idea. Also, Elizabeth Shaw deserved a far better fate than just being killed off off-screen, whether or not these are essentially horror films with no happy ending. Oh, last but not least, David deployed the Engineers own Bioweapon from orbit in one of their own ships to kill them all, then spent a decade after his ship was forced to crash-land using super-advanced technology to create the Xenomorph? WHY did the Engineers not have orbital defenses against precisely this kind of threat, again?
