Deity Connect Firmware V2/V2.1 | Updated User Walkthrough

On this special, boring episode of Sound 101, Andrew talks us through all of the updates to the Deity Connect firmware V2/V2.1. This updated user walkthrough shows some of the relocated menu items and brand new features. We explain the updates on the DUO-RX and HD-TX specifically, because they have changed the most.

At 2:37 into the video, you mention the actual Latency times as Low = 19ms, Mid = 30ms, and High = 40ms. You should add this to your website. I searched for hours and finally only found it in the video. A search on Google does not give these numbers. Thanks.

Having the same issue as Dan Dolar. My Duo-Rx lacks some of the menu items in the Out Type and can't record from one of my BP-TX transmitters. I have submitted two support requests to Deity and have heard nothing back from them, even confirmation they received the requests. Anyone else having support issues with Deity?

Finally… I just (Feb 2025) received two Deity Connect kits, addidtional BP-TRX and HD-TX adapters after they had been sold out. SO HAPPY!

I'm so happy the HD-TX now does both. I was waiting for this. Now hopefully Deity will release that receiver only thingy (sorry, it's been so long I forgot its name) so I can start using the TX on set.

The firmware V2.0 that's currently on your site for the DUO-RX totally doesn't have all of those modes when I ran it on my DUO-RX - the only modes that are showing up are XLR, DSLR ISO, and DSLR MIX. Any thoughts?

If I am running latency mode on high do I need to then change the input for my wired connections to 40ms delay?

I just did the update. I really wish the Deity Connect HD-TX update would have included a proper dB readout, instead of the vague bouncing bars that don't really give you any useful information. :(

I can't update my BP-TX, it has version 1.0, I tried to update it to version 2.0 but I couldn't either, the other BP-TX and the DUORX was updated without any problem, what can I do to get version 2.1?
It is worth mentioning that those had a version higher than 1.0 and below 2.1

just attempted to update my Connect system. DUO-RX was still on Firmware v1.32...followed instructions from downloaded files and got the message "failed - unknown device" Is this because it is not recognising the particular USB drive (it is a SanDisk) or because the firmware is older than v2.0? can you do the update direct from desktop of PC instead of going via a USB drive...I only have SanDisk USB drives here at the moment.
