Hi Christian, Thanks a lot for this video, it was super helpful. One question I had was that I have an Engineering Background as my Undergrad but with a CGPA of 2.7. The admission criteria for OMCS, require at least a 3.0 CGPA. Although I have worked for more than 10 years in the Tech Industry with around 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst in a top European bank.
So, how can I mitigate the lower than the required CGPA?

I’m interested in a career shift and looking at WGU. The only thing I’m worried about is they only go to calc I with no physics while most CS degrees have much more advanced mathematics reqs. Did you supplement the math with actual classes or just learning on your own?

Hi Christian, i am not really that interested in research work. I'll be doing job along with this degree, and im more interested in development part rather than doing research (ai, ml etc). Will this course be okay if i only wanna do it to have a masters on resume, and learning new skills :)

Hey, so I want to apply for OMSCS. My cumulative GPA is a 3.7. My major was Computer Engineering in undergrad, but I received a poor grade (D) in one of my classes in my final senior semester of undergrad. This was an electrical engineering class (which I took as a technical elective for my major). Do you have any recommendations as to how to address this, if at all? My computer engineering based courses and my computer science minor classes are mostly A’s and a couple B’s.

I'm currently completing a bachelor's at wgu for cs/ia. You mentioned supplementing your degree with calculus and assembly language programming, how did you go about this? Thank you

How is the program going for you so far. I just applied for the Fall 2024 term. I have a BS in CS and I'm a Senior Software Engineer. Is it super math heavy? Would you say learning the nitty gritty of linear algebra IS required? Or just basic linear algebra? Its also been awhile since I've done anything with Python. Need to brush up.
