I didn’t know the story at all . A wonderful thoughtful expression of everything that is wrong with war and conflict.Engin Akyurek was incredible as the grief stricken traumatised Captain Salih and supported by a great cast and production team. Very moving and emotional story and will be hard to forget . SUPERB.!!

This is an unusually deep movie that you will need to see twice - once to be surprised to discover what's really happening and twice to see it anew with the understanding of the main character, Salih's, reality. The contrast between the two characters is expertly portrayed, one a young and ebullient sidekick and now alter ego, the other mature, anguished on journey for redemption. They make great pair. "Godspeeed" is not easy to watch, you'll cry before it's over - and you definitely will watch it more than once.

I saw the film and it's a little bit too long. I didn't really the character of Salih, it's the same kind of character that Engin has played before, a man like Sancar who is always shouting. I thought this time, this film would be a great change in Engin's career but it didn't. I expect more of the series Kacis.
