Karting for BIG MONEY at the Jason Kimball Memorial!

We took on the biggest Vega tire dirt kart race of the year at Crossroads Motorplex—the Jason Kimball Memorial! With 52 karts battling for big money, I qualified 8th and fought hard through the main event, finishing 14th and still taking home $279. But it wasn’t easy—we faced bad luck and struggles all day, making this one of the toughest races yet.

What impresses me most is you never quit. Even when you have some bad breaks. Several of the championships I won were won on my bad races more so than the races I won in those series. I remember one in particular where I was leading and just drive off the track on my own and caught the Berm. By the time I got back on the track I was half a lap behind but I stayed out there and caught a break with a caution with 3 Laps to go that enabled me to catch up with the field. I was able to pass 6 or 8 karts from the restart til checkers those last 3 laps. Pissed off a few that I passed but that last spot I got was the point I needed to wrap up the championship. Even though I won the last pts race of that series it was not quitting that race before that ultimately won me the championship. Alot of drivers would have pulled off after they drove off the track leading cause they were embarrassed. And I was believe me but I didn't quit. Races aren't over until the checker flag falls. Just another life lesson that racing will teach us. Love the videos. Keep them coming.
