Thanks for watching! I know these ad-supported plans aren't for everyone, but they're one of our best tools to save money in a crowded streaming environment.

Considering the lack of content Netflix has at times. The cheaper the better imo. Been dealing with commercials all my life really. Why stop now if you can save a few dollars.?

The ad plan would never work for me as I'm a so-called binge-watcher, the ads will take away the enjoyment of watching shows back to back. But for someone that's watches less TV than me it maybe a great deal for them.

I will cancel Netflix the second that they do not offer an ad free plan, so hopefully that won't change.

I have the ad free version of Netflix and plan to stick with it.
Ads aren’t that big a deal and it might be great for a kids room or maybe if you want to give someone a gift and not have to put so much out of pocket

I have Netflix with ads. Several times it has errored out right at the end of the cluster of ads forcing me to have to restart Netflix app (on my Roku). Then it starts the whole cluster of ads again at the beginning and errors out at the end of the cluster of ads. It did this 3 times. I had to reboot the Roku for the issue to go away. I think Netflix's Roku app has a bug in it. Hulu doesn't have this problem.

I don't understand these ad plans. If I wanted ads I would not be subscribing to any streaming service and would relegate all my viewing to free local channels via antenna.

Im thinking about going down to the ad plan. I just moved from the $20 plan to the $10. The pitcher actually looks great. I may move because of the 1080p vs 720p. And 2 streams instead of 1.

the thing that killed it for me was the inability to Cast to my TV 😮 so I would have been able to watch entertainment, with ads, by myself on a tablet...? deal killer 😢

The thing that really annoys me about most online ad-supported services is clunky delivery with repetitive commercials. The best ad-supported app I have ever used is The ESPN App/ESPN+. The ad style is indistinguishable from watching cable television, 99% of the time.

Thank you as always Sir. I have the $15.49 a month plan but am going to switch over to the $6.99 plan. I have a large dental bill coming up and saving money is greatly appreciated.

In November 2013 Netflix added the ability to download titles on the Standard with Ads plan. I know this video was made before Netflix added the download ability to the Standard with Ads plan. Netflix allows 15 download titles per device for a total of 30 titles on two devices such as a mobile phone & tablet computer.

Currently we do not have Netflix, but considering of starting it back up. I do understand that some shows won’t be available with the ad plan, but is there some way we can find out prior to making a decision to what plan to pick from?

Well good thing they upgraded 720p to 1080p because 720p don’t makes sense anymore especially on 4K and 8K Tv

I signed up for Netflix with ads but what I wanted to binge was only available on the $9.99 per month plan. I kept it for a month and then canceled it. They want me back, so around Christmas I'll reup it since I have a few weeks off.

Netflix ad did it's job and saved the Company, Netflix was never gonna go outta business. The Ad plan was a fight to stay independent from having a company like Apple or Microsoft buy them.

Too many shows and movies missing on ad plan. Would have missed the Night Agent and all Sony movies on ad plan

Do you know when they’re going to start working on the licensing restrictions for this Netflix with ads plan? I was thinking of switching back down to the basic with ads plan, but the fact that I won’t is due to the licensing restrictions put in place.

Paramount+ features CBS, anyway. I never really thought about it before, but it doesn’t surprise me that the commercial app would have a heavy ad load.
