Some movies grow on me after a negative first impression. This was one of them. Once I accepted it for what it was instead of what I wanted it to be, I loved it! Special effects are a little dated now, but the interplay and banter between Bridget Moynahan and Will Smith was perfect.

This film used to scare me as a kid. More than actual horror films did.
I think it was the mannerisms in the robots that just spooked me out. Up until then I thought robots did only what we wanted them to lol.

This movie really isn't a good adaptation (it's script was initially written as its own thing and the studio made it into an I robot adaptation afterwards) but as it is I still think it's genuinely one of the best sci-fi movies of its time. It's just straightforward in a way most hollywood movies have forgotten how to be these days. It's fun, visually breathtaking, and tells a complete story which, while not incredible, does manage to raise a few interesting questions. I honestly miss when we had movies like this.

With the rapid advances in AI Technology and Robotic development in so many parts of the world, I feel this movie is coming to a scary reality.

This film is underrated but a pretty good film and could have been improved (e.g., have less violence). Plus, the film was ahead of its time in terms of CGI (at least 3-4 years ahead of its time).
