Long gone are the days of great sing along theme songs! Different Strokes, Charles in Charge, Dukes of Hazzard, Facts of Life, etc!

Damn, whoever they got to play Mrs. Garrett there is a SPOT ON resembling of Charlotte Rae. Now that is what you call good recasting.

"It don't matter whatcha got, not alot? So what! They'll have theirs, you'll have yours and I'll have mine. And together we'll be fine." an 80's theme song really teaching us how to act in 2021.

That made me nostalgic. I was a young boy back then in Nigeria and Different Strokes was my favorite TV show. I always kept a date with it... RIP Gary Coleman

"And together we'll be fine!" So good. Harmonies were perfect, and the crowd responded.

Todd Bridges is one strong man. if I were him, I couldn’t have handled being apart of this because I would’ve been an emotional mess the minute they sang the theme song thinking about how everyone I once knew and loved on that set are all gone.

The fact that Todd out lived the cast knowing his past is wild to me I'm glad he turned his life around. He looks great

0:55 “And together, we’ll be fine” The way they harmonize on that part makes me think of all the late stars, holding hands, as they look down on this performance together.
Conrad Bain, Dana Plato, Charlotte Rae, Mary Ann Mobley, Dixie Carter, Nedra Volz, Le Tari, and Gary Coleman 🕊

This special reminded me why I prefer live audiences for sitcoms.
