ABOUT THIS VIDEO: This is White Web's Haunted House from 2021. We sort of pushed the limits of just how creative and amazing a "DIY-er" can be using primarily pop-up tents as the framework for a homemade haunted house. And the results were amazing! Just watch and see for yourself.

ABOUT WHITE WEB'S HAUNT: White Web's Haunt is a homemade, family-run "DIY" form of entertainment for people of all ages (if they dare...). We're located in a small-ish town in Northern California, but attract several thousand trick-or-treaters each year.

EVERYONE feels a sense of unsure nervousness sharing their achievements of their home haunt that is, until the screams start and the puddles are left on the pavement! Day runs are always going to look lackluster, that's the reason why its all painted black and done at night! Keep haunting! I hope that each and every year you have a more awesome event!

I love just how disorienting and good it looks on the inside. I’m sure you gave a lot of people some fun memories.

I lol'd at all the kids getting scared at the end. Totally worth the effect.

looks great! you had some great ideas. you know all animatronics are able to be used in motion detection mode. so mr dark doesn’t have to be on step pad. there’s a lot of work that could be used on tarp management by using. tape to tie down lose edges maybe a staple gun where it can be used to cut back on zip ties. i’ve been doing this for a few years now and have spent somewhere near $10000 on building. diy haunted houses can be fun but takes a lot of effort and planing. these are just ideas that have worked for me in the past. your lighting looks pretty good and honestly you did really well just a few adjustments could make it better.

I use the Tingler plot with my haunts. I always tell the trick or treaters to scream if they find themselves getting scared. It's a way to stop the spooks from getting you. Best part is the pretend trick or treaters who play along to really sell the scares.

This was so much fun! Great job! I would be screaming with the rest of the kids! Thanks also for the POV walkthrough towards the end. Excellent!

First of all Mr Dark is amazing, the extreme height of a dark figure is an instant scare for most people, if you have to look up to see what it is, then your brain tells you it's danger! Even for adults caught unaware, effective! As for the rest, brilliant, really good atmosphere, this is inspiring to me as I really want to set up one of these but on a more terrifying level, nice touch with little girl jumping out from around the corner, I bet she had a great time doing that!

Thinking about doing something like this for Halloween. Super love the use of tents, showing you don’t have to build it out of wood and metal and all that.

Love it- especially the alien rubbing it's head- don't know why that just freaked me out

Nice job! I used to be in charge of doing our Home Owners Assc. Haunted house. I Divided our clubhouse up into sections and walkways with PVC pipe framework. One of the dark narrow hallways I hung 1# test fishing line from the ceiling down to about shoulder level, it simulated walking through spider webs, it really freaked a lot of people out.

That’s fantastic, we did a small maze in our garage one year, was a lot of fun and the community really got the word out. Had so many trick-or-treaters that year.
