The easy way for part b is:
P(10, 3) × P(7×5)
Or
P(10, 3) × P(7×2) . First we find combination for 3 blue marble for 10 places. Then, 7 place is left for red and white marbles. Now, we can find combination for 5 red marbles for the 7 place or 2 white marbles for the 7 place and both are the same. Finally we multiply the two answers.

just feel really wired why it asks in this way- 'distinguished....' a) is a very easy question but he made it confusing...

Could you please explain the logic behind
P10= N*[p3*p5*p2] . I did't quiet get it

By the way excellent videos !! Very helpful

For b, as I see it, is the number of permutations (total) divided by the permutations of each group of redundancies, in a way, deducting the redundancies from the total ~4million permutations.

Sir, I couldn't understand the logic behind taking N..Can this be done by taking 3 blue, 5 red and 2 white marbles as single marbles respectively and then find permutation?

b seems similar to the combinations formula that we use.

Given 5 different green balls, 4 different blue balls, and 3 different red balls, how many combinations of balls can be chosen taking at least one green and one blue ball?
