The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie is finally out in theaters, but it comes at a time when Warner Bros is destroying the Looney Tunes franchise. Every classic Looney Tunes short is gone from Max. Coyote vs. Acme still shows no signs of releasing. What's going on? Why is Warner Bros ditching the franchise that brought them to where they are today?

You’d think Warner Bros would treat Looney Tunes with more respect, considering that it’s their equivalent to Mickey Mouse in terms of cultural significance

I'm sorry, they labeled Looney Tunes as "children's programming"? Did they forget these were originally made for adults? WB has fallen so far. Zaslav must be removed.

This is like if Nintendo ditched Mario.
MARIO! It's unthinkable, but WB is doing it right now with Looney Tunes.

It's not just Looney tunes. Every animated cartoon and project Is in danger. And all because David Zaslov believes animation is for "children" and isn't profitable. This kind of thinking is just insulting! Animation is for EVERYONE, not just children! Zaslov is clearly out of touch and is ruining Warner brothers animation catalogue.

“The General Public has no idea it exists.”

You don’t know how emotionally impactful that single line is…

Honestly the fact that Joker 2 had apparently NO test screenings before release whereas Coyote Vs. ACME reportedly had very good well-received ones clearly shows Warner Bros’ recent incompetence, stupidity and hypocrisy

THE PROBLEM IS THE CEO OF WBD, NOT MAX AND WARNER BROS! THE CEO IS THE BIG PROBLEM!

And what’s sad about the whole ordeal is that The Day The Earth Blew Up is actually awesome. I loved it.

At this point I’m convinced Zaslav has some weird personal dislike of animation with how far he’s going to try and literally erase EVERYTHING animation-based from his own platforms. Bc at this point his decisions don’t even make sense from a money standpoint (how exactly does erasing your studio’s equivalent of the Mickey Mouse gang or Sesame Street = more money?? They’re the most popular characters XD)

The day that Warner Bros should fire the CEO of the place

Mel Blanc and all four of The REAL Warner Bros are all rolling in their graves right now simply because that this David guy who’s not related to Blanc nor any of The Warners purposefully destroyed their company and legacy. And to make matters worse, it’ll take years until all of The Looney Tunes to enter The Public Domain. And to make matters worse, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ll make horror movies out of all of them😥

2:40 ok I'm gonna stop that representative right there! The original Looney Tunes is NOT Children's programming! It was aimed at adults in the theater! By today's standards Looney Tunes would be considered not suitable for children. Due to all the gunshots, explosions, and sexually suggestive humor. Heck if you buy a Looney Tunes DVD it has a warning on the back that says "Looney Tunes is recommended for an adult audience as it contains content not suitable for children." If that isn't evidence that OG Looney Tunes isn't for children IDK what is!

WB with a horrible move. Not to mention that Coyote vs ACME will never see the light of day. Looney Tunes brought them to where they are. They destroyed a classic franchise.

And I still can’t believe I have to say goodbye to looney tunes being on Max.

Warner Bros. 🤝 Ubisoft

Abandoning the franchises that put them on the map in the first place

At this point, they might as well declare bankruptcy. There's no saving the studio anymore.

The timeline where David Zaslav was a closeted animation fan is lucky
